Crown Ducal
Trading company of A.G. Richardson & Co. Ltd. was located in Tunstall, Stoke on Trent, England. Founded in 1915, the company is best known for its tableware. In 1931 artist Charlotte Rhead came to work for the factory producing memorable Art Deco patterns such as Persian Rose, Orange Tree, Byzantine and Wisteria. She left the factory in 1942. The Crown Ducal factory was bought by Wedgewood in 1974.
